Well...here we are in the season of Thanksgiving and Rod and I personally have much to be thankful for. Our business is growing and as the old poem says, "Make new friends, but keep the old; Those are silver, these are gold." We have new properties that we are managing and we continue to have properties that we have been managing for quite some time. We appreciate each and every one of you. Thank you for putting your confidence in us.
We couldn't manage your properties if it weren't for the tenants...we have great tenants. Again...some new...some who have been with us for a long time. Thank you!
We are also thankful for the new addition to our office staff. Lynnette Larsen joined us this year and has been a real blessing. She is our assistant and is learning the ropes both in the office and in the field. She is working as an unlicensed property manager at this time and plans to become licensed in 2014.
Currently, Rod is at home recuperating from his second knee replacement surgery. He is doing great and should be back in the office in a couple of weeks. Meantime, Lynnette and I are holding down the fort. Please feel free to e-mail: [email protected] (my e-mail) or [email protected] (Rod's e-mail -- we are checking daily) or call 360-289-4999 or 360-940-7243 (office numbers).
Just wondering ... anybody do anything nontraditional for Thanksgiving? I read a facebook post from a friend who says her family doesn't like turkey so they have prime rib...this led another to say that her family had her grandma's spicy chili instead of turkey...regardless... Have a blessed holiday...praying each of you has lots of rest, love, laughter and no turkey-hangovers! ;)

Well, two more homes rented! All of our properties are special and as I've said before, each has its own personality and will be "THE ONE" for someone. I have to say that I really like the chalet that we have at 473 Mt Olympus. It feels a bit like a mountain cabin...makes me think of Heidi when I drive up in the yard. It has a lot of charm and is definitely not a "cookie cutter" house. Someone who likes things that are unique needs to find it.

Wow! Things have been hopping this past month here at Pacific Property Rentals! We've rented up quite a few homes and apartments over the past month and gotten a few new ones to manage. An applicant came in yesterday having seen one of our properties on our website and said he knew it was the house for he and his "kids" -- a great dane and a Jack Russell terrier. Rod showed him the house and he took it right on the spot. I love it when we help someone find just the right home for them!
People come to us for lots of different reasons -- they're relocating to Grays Harbor; they've sold a home and need a place to rent until a new one is built; their family has increased and they need something bigger; they are retiring and need something smaller -- there are as many different reasons for moving as there are people it seems.
Whatever your reason may be, we'd love to help you find that right place for you! Take a look at our properties and if you see something that piques your interest, please call us! We have some really great properties for rent right now but our inventory is starting to dwindle so don't wait! Ocean Shores is a great place to live and we have some great houses, apartments and condos to live in! <3

Well, the busy season is upon us here in Ocean Shores. Good for us...good for owners...good for tenants. Each of us needs to have our own little spot on the map where we can land each day and feel secure and have some respite from the daily grind. So finding the right house to live in is a big deal! Houses are like people -- they have personality. Helping people find a house that suits them is something Rod (my husband---the Property Manager!) is very good at. If you see something you're interested in, please call us as soon as you can and schedule an appointment...this is our busy season and almost as soon as someone moves out someone else is moving back in! Give us a call and let us help you find that special place to call home! ;)

I've never blogged before so please be patient with me ;o) We've increased our inventory of houses quite a bit over the past few weeks and since the beginning of April have been showing houses almost daily! Maybe the economy is starting to pick up. Give us a call if you are relocating to the Grays Harbor area and we'll do our best to help you find comfortable and affordable housing!

I grew up here and I just have to say that I really don't mind the weather. I like storms and rain doesn't bother me most of the time. Yesterday's nice but cold weather has turned to liquid sunshine today. I'd like to be curled up in front of the fireplace at home with a cup of hot tea and a good book ... how about you? Just so happens we have a few nice places to hibernate in on days like this if you're looking for one!
